Dr. Gregory T. Grubba Dr. Greg Grubba was born and raised in Anchorage. After graduating from East Anchorage High School he attended the University of Portland as a business major, later transferring to the University of San Diego where he discovered a love of the sciences and changed majors, graduating with a major in biology and minors in chemistry and business. Dr. Grubba then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he served as the class representative to the American Dental Association® and was the editor of the school newspaper for two years. After graduating with honors in 1988 he completed a residency at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, gaining extensive experience with facial trauma and oral surgery. Dr. Grubba then worked in San Francisco and Santa Rosa dental practices until realizing that California might be too crowded. Returning to Anchorage, Dr. Grubba started a practice sharing an office with his father. He has since enjoyed many long and fulfilling relationships with many of the real pioneers of our city.
Dr. Grubba believes in a whole body approach to care and has studied many different health-related fields to better serve his patients. He has a strong commitment to the small details. He has studied at The Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry, completed a mini residency in implants and bone grafting at USC, and studied under several prominent educators of Interceptive and Orthopedic Orthodontics as well as TMJ and Airway Development and management. Dr. Grubba enjoys interacting with people, and offering compassionate, gentle care comes naturally to him.
Dr. Grubba has been committed to helping with charitable causes and giving back to our local community for many years, and has been awarded the Small Business Philanthropy award for Alaska. He has served as an adjunct clinical faculty member for UAA’s dental hygiene program since 1992, and continually participates in the Donated Dental Network, a group of dentists and dental labs who provide free care for individuals with disabilities or other challenging circumstances. In fact, he is the longest continual donor for Donated Dental Network! He is also a participant in Project Access, donates services to the Chanlyut men’s recovery/reintegration program, and serves the Anchorage Gospel Rescue Mission and the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.

After working a couple years in the Bay Area, she moved to Anchorage in 1991. Michelle has worked with Dr. Grubba on and off for 20 years. She respects and admires Dr. Grubba’s quality of dentistry and his family-oriented business. Sometimes Michelle is working alongside Dr. Grubba chairside and also at the front desk.
